Tumoala Devils Claw Sew-On Kachina Patch

The Devil's Claw (Tumoala) appears during Pachavu ceremony and the Mixed dances. This Kachina represents the devils claw plant that grows on the Hopi Reservation and appears after the rains. It is felt that this plant holds the clouds, and therefore also calls the clouds and helps them stay and provide rain.

This patch is washable, colorfast and does not shrink. A brief story of the Kachina is also included with each patch. Approximate size is 3" x 5". Sold individually.
